“Ensuring reliable, affordable, and sustainable services for every household in Majuro.”

MWSC was established to manage the water distribution and access for the Majuro community, through water catchment, treatment, and distribution of clean water, as well as some saltwater distribution as alternatives. MWSC also manages the wastewater and sewage through its network of pipelines across Majuro.
The network is old and subject to further capital funding for upgrades. Currently MWSC capacity restricts available clean water to several hours per day.
Regular septic pumping is the most important step in maintaining your system’s health and longevity. Depending on the size of your tank and household or facility usage, pumping is typically recommended every 3–5 years. Our certified professionals use state-of-the-art vacuum trucks to efficiently remove solid waste and sludge, preventing backups, overflows, and costly repairs.
Saltwater flushing helps extend the water supply in Majuro by using ocean water to flush toilets and to provide emergency water for fire fighting--replacing critical freshwater. This service has its drawbacks though as saltwater corrodes toilet parts and innards, causing leaks, loss of pressure and increased electricity costs due to the increased pumping. Saltwater can also be very damaging to the advanced fire trucks in our modern times. It's important that customers keep their toilets up to date and not leaking to ensure that unnecessary pumping is reduced. If your toilet is running and you cannot repair, please reach out to MWSC for assistance and report line leaks immediately for repair by MWSC operations staff.
Our potable water supply and truck delivery service provides safe, clean, and certified drinking water directly to your location. Whether you need water for residential, commercial, or industrial use, our modern fleet can handle deliveries of any size. Each truck undergoes strict sanitization and maintenance to ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.

In coastal and marine areas, salt buildup can cause rapid corrosion of fire hydrants and water system components. Our saltwater flushing service helps remove harmful deposits and extends the lifespan of hydrants, ensuring they remain fully operational in emergencies. Regular flushing not only protects the hydrants from deterioration but also safeguards your property and community by maintaining reliable fire protection.
